School Lunches & Cool Milk
We are a nut free school.
As an Infant school, children are provided with a free school meal through the government initiative, Universal Infant School Meals. This means that NO payment is required for Infant School Dinners. However, if you would rather supply your child with a packed lunch you must let the school know as the school is charged for all meals booked and only receives the grant to cover the cost of the meals for dinners actually taken.
We do require parents to choose either school dinners or packed lunch for their children via our booking system SCOPAY.
Lunches must be booked by 12am on a Sunday for the week ahead, but you can book for the entire term using the menus below. If you need to make a change to your child's school lunch booking you must do so by contacting the school office directly.
Our Food
Our school kitchen is managed by Olive Dining and our excellent chef Chaibia and assistant chef Lucy serve up a delicious, nutritious lunch for our children everyday. They hold special themed menus each term, giving the children a vibrant variety of meals from many different cultures. Please see some examples of our special meal celebrations below.

Packed Lunches
If you are bringing in a packed lunch for your child please note the details below.
Packed lunches should not include:

snacks such as crisps. (instead, include seeds, vegetables and fruit - with no added salt, sugar or fat - savoury crackers or breadsticks served with fruit, vegetables or dairy food.

confectionery such as chocolate bars, chocolate-coated biscuits and sweets. (Cakes and biscuits are allowed but encourage your child to eat these only as part of a balanced meal.)

nuts or nut products - we are a nut free school
- Water - children should only have water to accompany their lunches, no juices, squashes or fizzy drinks should be included in your child's lunch.
Children who are having a packed lunch at school, must still book their lunches through SCOPAY.
Allergies & Dietary Requirements
We take allergies very seriously at Limpsfield C.E Infant and children with allergies and intolerances will be catered for where possible. Parents must the the school office know at the time of registration about any allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements their child has and must complete a special diet request form which are available from the office.
If a child develops an allergy or intolerance at anytime please alert the school office so we can inform the kitchen.
Children with allergies, intolerances and dietary requirements will wear a lanyard at meal times so all adults and children are aware to ensure they are kept safe at all times.
We are a nut free school as we have children and adults at our school with severe allergies to nuts.
Cool Milk
Free milk is available for all children under the age of five in school, funded by the UK government.
In our school, this milk is provided by Cool Milk, the UK’s leading school milk supplier.
We will register your child for their free school milk on your behalf by providing Cool Milk with your child’s name and date of birth.
When your child turns five, you are able to pay a subsidised rate for your child to continue to receive milk. If you wish for your child to continue receiving milk from the age of five, simply register with Cool Milk directly via their website Cool Milk. They will then contact you at the appropriate time to arrange pre-payment.
In line with a recent change in legislation, after a child turns five schools must provide free milk for children entitled to benefits-based on free school meals and pupil premium.
All information handled by Cool Milk is processed in accordance with current Data Protection Legislation. The data will be stored securely on Cool Milk’s UK-based servers and will not be passed to third parties other than to UK Government departments for audit purposes.
